On a daily basis at MMCRU High School, students and staff members are listening to or talking with peers about various kinds of popular music. Many students during the school day are seen streaming music from their computers or cell phones, or talking to their friends about their favorite music and upcoming music releases. There are a massive amount of music types that members enjoy listening to on a regular basis. Each person also has a different preference for when and how they prefer to listen.
70% of the MMCRU members stated that they listen to music almost every day. The most common choice or musical style was country music; the musician that most of the survey takers claimed to be their favorite was Morgan Wallen. Commercial pop music was another one of the most present genres. Fans of other genres like rock, jazz, hip-hop, rap, classical, theater, and religious music exist in smaller groups. Most music listeners tend to focus more on individual songs than any of the entire albums which they usually come from. Almost half of the people who responded did not give a definite answer as to what their favorite music album is.
