To Whom It May Concern…
Q: My girlfriend and I can never decide on where to go to eat for dinner on date nights. She always says that it doesn’t matter and I say the same thing. We end up trying to figure it out and by the time we do, date night has turned into making a sandwich and watching TV. Any suggestions?
A: Oh the never-ending of “it doesn’t matter” and “I don’t care”. I bet when you finally do suggest a place, your girlfriend will say something along the lines of “ew no, I don’t want that”. So it’s obvious that we all do care about what we want. An easy solution is to make a game out of it. If you think of things to do and places to eat, write them down on a piece of paper, put them into a hat, and whatever you pick will be the activity and restaurant you go to! Leave it up to chance and have fun! Otherwise, it doesn’t matter and I don’t care (just kidding, full circle of a joke – I’m trying)..
