To Whom it May Concern
To Whom It May Concern…
Hi everyone! Welcome to my first advice column with the Marcus News! It’s called To Whom It May Concern (TWIMC) and I’m so excited to start this adventure with you! I figured it was about time Marcus News had something fun and interactive for all of us to be entertained with and they were so receptive to the idea, so here I am! Let me first tell you that I am not a professional doctor, therapist, counselor, or anything with special letters behind my name, but I’m a great listener and have had lots of life experiences. I will not tell you my name nor will I ever publish yours and will more than likely make names up too (it’s just better that way)! I do live in the Siouxland area and now reside in Cherokee County. I have traveled to lots of places and have met some amazing and unique people along the way. I do have a family and love spending time helping those who may need it! I hate politics and love love love food and drinks! I am a very blunt and honest person, so if you get upset, offended, or disagree with my advice or opinions, sorry about your luck, then don’t read my next one! Again, this is for entertainment purposes and an opportunity for those to seek advice from a neutral party. So enough about me, let’s get this started! Here’s a question that I overheard and so badly wanted to chime in:
Q: Why are boys so gross?
A: The answer is simple. Because they are. HOWEVER, gross boys don’t mind crawling under the sink to fix a leaky pipe. Gross boys don’t mind sweating it out to mow the overgrown weeds that they call their yard because we asked them to. Gross boys don’t mind playing with the hogs all day long to support the family. BUT make sure these gross boys shower, scrub, rinse, and repeat before jumping into the bed at night! Otherwise, you’re just plain gross! So there ya go boys, focus on aftercare because a real woman won’t lay down with a grossie!
