The Wolverines hosted the Remsen St. Mary’s Hawks in the Competition Gym on Friday December 12. The home win was a scoring battle, but a big opening quarter, with a smaller opening in the second period gave the host team the edge. The Wolverines outscored the Hawks 13-6 in the opening period and 16-12 in the second. The Hawks battled in the third period not allowing the Wolverines to outscore them. The 11-points each helped the Wolverines maintain their 11 point advantage going into the final period. It was a shoot out with the Wolverines adding 2 more points to their lead, 17-15. The game final was 57 Wolverines and 44 Hawks.
Jaden Kreber led Wolverine scoring with 27. Brody Van Beek hit for 12 points and Brady Riedemann marked 11.
