Obituary – Nancy Frohberg

Memorial Services for Nancy E. Frohberg, 76, of Norfolk, formerly of Marcus, Iowa, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue in Norfolk. Pastor Marshal Hardy will officiate.
Visitation with the family will be one hour prior at the chapel.
Home for Funerals in Norfolk is in charge of arrangements.
Nancy passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Oaks in Central City, Nebraska after a long battle with dementia.
Nancy E. Frohberg was born March 5, 1948, the daughter of Wilmer and Wilma Lehnhoff. She was raised and educated in the Marcus area graduating from Marcus Community School. Nancy worked at Cherokee State Bank where she met and married Daniel Dugan. They made their home in Marcus when their twins started school.
While her kids were in school, Nancy was a school secretary in the Middle, and High School in the Marcus Community School District where she enjoyed working with her coworkers and especially the kids every day. Nancy was an amazing homemaker who enjoyed cooking and decorating.
In the summer, you would find Nancy out in her yard tending to all her plants and flowers. She enjoyed spending time with family in Okoboji. She was elated to become a grandmother and would spend all the time she could making memories with her grandkids.
On November 7, 1997, Nancy married Dan Frohberg from Norfolk, Nebraska. She enjoyed listening to him play in the band and attend many dances.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Wilma; one sister, Joann; and a brother-in-law, Lee Grage.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dan of Norfolk; children, Andrew Dugan of Winnebago, Nebraska, Amy (Tony) Wurth of Remsen, Michael and (Marsha) Frohberg, Amy Meyer, Sean (Jessica) Frohberg, and Katey Frohberg; grandchildren, Chloe and Brady Wurth of Remsen, Rylee and Dylan Frohberg, Aydon, Alyvia, and Tenneson Meyer, and Carter Frohberg; and siblings, Janet (Jim) Staver of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Jean Grage of Remsen, Iowa, Linda (Doug) Roseen of Marcus, Iowa, and Tom (Shari) Lehnhoff of Marcus, Iowa.
