Cherokee Regional Offers Pediatric Physical Therapy Specialty

Cherokee Regional Medical Center is excited to welcome Jennifer Kaskey to their experienced team of physical therapists. Kaskey has over 20 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy and working with children to help treat physical limitations caused by injury or developmental delay.
Kaskey graduated from Iowa State University with her undergraduate degree in biology. After graduation she went on to The University of Iowa for her master’s degree and eventually completed the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the University of South Dakota.
“We are excited to add a talented and experienced physical therapist to our team,” says Kayla Koch, Therapy Department Manager. “Jen’s expertise in pediatrics will complement our strong pediatric occupational therapy and speech therapy programs, allowing us to provide even more comprehensive care for the children and families we serve.”
Cherokee Regional therapists utilize a variety of therapy methods to care for patients including state-of-the-art equipment, a heated therapy pool, dry needling and so much more. They are also nearing completion of the development of a pediatric sensory room to better serve children participating in therapy treatment. If you think your child might benefit from a physical therapy session, schedule a screening with Cherokee Regional’s Therapy Department or ask your primary care provider.
