AgState Announces Ribbon Cutting for New Operational Cardtrol Facility in Marcus

AgState is excited to announce the opening of its new Cardtrol fuel facility
in Marcus, marking a significant milestone in enhancing fuel accessibility and service excellence for the
community. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday, December 11, with Marcus Mayor, the
Chamber of Commerce, the local Economic Development Board, and AgState representatives in attendance to
commemorate this achievement.
The Cardtrol facility is now operational, offering 24/7 access to high-quality fuel through a secure and userfriendly system. This advanced facility is designed to meet the needs of local farmers, fleet operators, and
residents, ensuring a modern and reliable fueling experience. The new Marcus cardtrol features:
- 24/7 Access: Unmatched convenience with fuel availability at any hour of the day.
- Updated High-Speed Pumps: Enhanced efficiency allowing for quicker fueling times, reducing wait
times, and increasing customer satisfaction. - Advanced Blender Pumps: Offering a variety of fuel products through advanced blender pumps,
providing customers with multiple options to choose from, including flex fuels and E85. - Ease of Access: Strategically located, with plenty of driveway space for easy, safe access for farmers,
large commercial vehicles, and local patrons, enhancing overall convenience. - Flexible Payment Options: Acceptance of all major credit cards as well as AgState’s in-house credit
cards, offering flexible payment solutions for all customers.
While the facility is already open for use, AgState plans to host a formal grand opening celebration later this
spring. The event will welcome the community to explore the facility, learn about its features, and celebrate this
exciting addition to Marcus. Details will be announced closer to the date.
In the meantime, the AgState Energy Sales Team will be on-site for the next 10 business days to assist
customers with fueling and answer any questions about the new system. “This facility reflects AgState’s

AgState.
The new Cardtrol is located at 200 N. Hwy 143, on the north side of Marcus, IA and is open for use. Customers
are encouraged to stop by, fuel up, and meet with the AgState Energy Team for assistance and support.
