MMCRU – Butter Braid Fundraiser
By MMCRU Hunter Lesline
Butter Braids is a fundraiser that is held by the seniors at MMCRU High School. The seniors are given the choice to participate with their class to raise enough money to go on the yearly senior trip to Minnesota. 19 of 49 students participated in the fundraiser, and the senior class sold a record number of Butter Braids, selling over 600 and raising between $5,000 and $7,000 in regards to their trip. With the help of Mrs. Kelly Peters, the senior class gets to make one more big memory before graduating. That is what is so special about the people here at MMCRU. They go out of their way to help with anything they can, and this happened to be one more class memory.
