The Royals Defeat the Rebels at Sloan

The Royals held their hosts to just 6 points in the first half at Sloan on Friday October 11. In the same time the Royals put 27 points on the board. They followed that up with 7 more in each quarter of the 2nd half. The Royals allowed the Rebels to score 12 points in the ending period. The game final was 41-18.The win gives the Royals a 5-2 season record.
The Royals sophomore quarterback Eli Harpenau threw a 15 pass attempts and reached a perfect 15 receptions, gaining 174 yards through the air. Three receptions got to the end zone, scoring 3 Tds for the effort. Junior Kamden Bork received 2 of the throws for 43 yards and a TD.
The Royals rushed carries for 205 yards. Three carries ended in the end zone with the longest scoring rush attempt going for 45 yards. Harpenau claimed 20 of the rushing yards. Junor Brayson Mulder ran the ball 11 times, gaining 111 yardds and 2 Tds and 11 receptions.
The Royals’ claimed one sack against the Rebel offense. The Rebels posted 8 sacks against the Royals protection.
The Rebels claimed one fumble recovery. The Royals claimed an interception by Senior Jace Colling, returning it 23 yards. Colling also is credited with 7 tackles.
