It was a 4-set game at Marcus. The Royals hosted the Harris-Lake Park Wolves in Volleyball action. The Royals claimed the first 2 sets, 25-22 and 25-14. The Wolves rallied and claimed a set victory, 25-23. The Wolves fought hard in the 4th set but it went to the Royals, 25-17.
The Royals showed strong teamwork. Assists reached 39. Team kills were 42 out of 132 attempts against the visiting team’s 25 successes out fo 115 attempts.
The Wolves showed strength and skill at the net. They marked 8 solo blocks agains the Royals’ 3. The Royals joined forces markig 6 block assists. Royals’ serve showed up Thursday evening. The scored on a dozen ace serves as opposed to the Wolves’ 7.
