Another Travel Night Ends Well for Royals

Scoring opened in the top of the first with a Royal run. They scored again in a big way in the 3rd putting up 4 more. The Harris-Lake Park Wolves were held off scoring until the 5th when they scored 1 and 2 more in the 6th. The ending gave the Royals a 5-3 win.
Kaleigh Gravenish and Isabelle Richardson shared pitching duties Wednesday. Gravenish threw 5.2 innings, giving up a hit and 3 runs. Six of her 26 batters got a free base from walks. Three more took it for the team. Nine Wolves whiffed at the pitches.
Brooke Nicks held the mound at home the full game. She faced 33 hitters, allowing 6 hits and 5 runs. She walked 3 and hit 1 batter.
Breanna Staab went 2 for 3 with 2 runs. Tia Tentinger busted 2 for 4 with a run. Brielle Lux scored from a walk and Hailey Staab got a run.
