Clark’s Hometown Furniture

A new furniture store in Kingsley, Iowa is holding its grand opening now through April 30. Wendy Weaver, a lifelong resident of Kingsley, explained how the furniture store grew out of a kiosk at a hardware store convention in 2021. The then-business manager of Clark’s Hardware attended a conventon. A section of the Clark’s Hardware store was dedicated to a line of the Ashley Furniture brand. It went over well and a small furniture store was opened on March 1, 2022. The success of that store was proved by quickly outgrowing its building. Expansion was the answer. The current location of Clark’s Hardware Hometown Furniture is a brand new building, twice the size of its original building, located across West Second Street. Ashley Furniture is the only brand currently sold at Hometown Furniture. Weaver does not rule out expanding into other brands. A wide variety of styles and types are available and can be viewed on the store’s website, www.kingsleyhardware.com.
The new store opened December 21, 2023. Now they are celebrating their grand opening. The grand opening celebration began on March 1 and continues through April 30, 2024. For each piece of furniture or mattress sold, protection plans comes at no additional cost. Extended warranties on appliances also come at no additional charge.
The original Clark’s Hardware Hometown Furniture store houses an appliance store. All major brands are in stock at the appliance store; KitchenAid, Maytag, Whirlpool, Amana, and Frigidaire. Models of washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, cook tops and dishwashers can also be purchased and taken home same day. Kitchen and dining furniture can also be found at the appliance store along with office furniture.
Clark’s Hardware Hometown Furniture is located at 23 W 2nd Street in Kingsley. Hours of operation are M-F 10:00am to 5:30pm and Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm. It is closed Sundays.
