Breeana De Vos is a passionate and dedicated teacher who teaches vocal music to students in grades 5-12. Ms. De Vos has been teaching at MMCRU for two years and has already made a positive impact on the lives ofmany students.
Ms. De Vos stated she had always wanted to be a music teacher as her love for music stemmed from piano lessons she took as a young child. Ms. De Vos teaches 5-8 music in the Remsen middle school and 9-12 choir at the Marcus high school.
Ms. De Vos grew up in Cherokee, Iowa and went to the University of Northern Iowa for Vocal Music Education, and her advice to the students of MMCRU is to make the most of their high school years and make sure to create time for friends and family. What Ms. De Vos enjoys most about teaching is the students, as she feels that they make everyday better and make her job the “best job ever”.
