Staff Spotlight – Natasha Young

This week we would like to turn our staff spotlight onto Natasha Young. She grew up kind of all over the place in the midwest, mainly in Minnesota. She lived in the Twin Cities area for most of her childhood, she moved to a small town in Missouri for her junior high years, and throughout high school, she lived in the small town of Nicollet, MN where she graduated from high school. She went to Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN and graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resources/Organizational Development, Public Relations/Marketing Promotion, Consumer Marketing, Marketing Management, and Management, as well as a minor in Communications.
The people who inspired her were her family members and her past teachers. She stated that her mother and her aunt, Tiffany, were large inspirations in her life. She also seeks the aspects of teaching that interests her the most, which pertains to making a positive impact on the next generations of students.
Her advice for students that aspire to be teachers or educators would be “Remember you are teaching students to make informed decisions, not forcing them to agree with one certain point of view”
