Senior Spotlight

This week for the senior spotlight we will be featuring Kirsten Letsche. Kirsten lives on the east edge of Marcus, with her dad, Brian, her mom, Shannon, and her two younger siblings Crystal and Aaron. After high school Kirsten will attend the University of Iowa to attend nursing school.
Kirsten has been very involved throughout high school. She has been on the football cheer team and the competitive cheer team and has played volleyball, basketball, softball. She has been a part of NHS and speech. Kirsten has lettered in every sport and she has been a captain of the basketball team and softball team. Some of Kirsten’s top memories of high school are getting a long break sophomore year (Covid), prom during the summer, making it to state basketball and making connections with other people in different grades. Kirsten’s favorite school lunch is chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes or crispitos. Outside of school Kirsten enjoys boating, reading, exercising, hanging out with friends and family, traveling, and going to sporting events. Kirsten works at Details for Carrie Lux and babysits in her free time. Some advice Kirsten would give to the underclassmen is to enjoy every day because high school goes by faster than you think, and to get involved in some of the activities our school has to offer.
One of Kirsten’s biggest accomplishments in high school is being involved in so many different activities and being a part of the basketball team that made it to state. Kirsten’s biggest pet peeve is when people interrupt her or when people interrupt others.
