AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICTS AS ESTABLISHED IN THE CITY CODE OF MARCUS, IOWA, TO RE-ZONE 109 E. PINE AND 208 N. LOCUST
FROM ITS PRESENT CLASSIFICATION TO A NEW CLASSIFICATION OF
RESIDENTIAL TO CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Marcus, Iowa:
SECTION 1. SECTION MODIFIED. That the official Zoning Map, and the Zoning Districts as established in the City Code of the City of Marcus, Iowa are hereby amended by Re-Zoning of the real properties described below from is present classification which is Residential District (R-1/R-3) to a new classification to Central Business District (CB):
Lot One (1) and Lot Two (2), all in Block Nine (9) of the First Addition to the Town of Marcus, Cherokee County, Iowa
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. WHEN EFFECTIVE. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval, and publication as provided by law.
