The MMCRU boys’ golf team went to Sioux Center to play against 10 teams in the War Eagle Conference. The Sioux Center golf course, the Ridge, was a little tough for the boys, but they tried their best. The MMCRU Boys got seventh place.
First in coming with the lowest score was Jaxson Heikens with the score of 73 for HLP. Coming in second was Lucas Gunderson with the score of 75. HLP and UC were the top two schools with the highest scores, they played really well and they have really good players.
The lowest score for MMCRU was Cade Pepper coming in 10th place with a score of 87.
1st : Harris Lake Park- 330
2nd: Unity Christian -332
3rd: Remsen St. Mary’s -351
4th:Gehlen Catholic- 363
5th:Akron Westfield- 368
6th: Hartly-Melvin-Sanborn – 380
Coach Schuttler commented on the meet with, “ We played on a golf course that was very difficult. As a team we had a hard time adjusting to it. The team completed well and will do better next year.”
