Senior Spotlight Blaine Wicks
By Elizabeth Pedersen
Blaine Wicks is the son of Brian Cook and Mandy Murray. Blaine has a few younger siblings by the names of Aiyana, Christiana, Karmen and Ryder. Outside of school, Blaine likes to go out with friends, play video games and he also likes to hang out with family.
Blaine has not been involved in any activities other than doing choir for two years. Some of Blaine’s favorite memories from high school would be when he’s hanging out with friends, getting to know new people, and getting out of his comfort zone.
A word of advice to the underclassmen would be to try and keep a positive mental attitude. Some of the jobs that Blaine has had throughout high school would be working at Pizza Ranch or helping other people move. One of Blaine’s favorite school lunches would have to be a Philly cheese steak without the cheese. One of his greatest accomplishments would be making it to his senior year.
One of Blaine’s pet peeves is when people continue to start drama. Some of his favorites include his favorite movie “Jumper,” and his favorite song is called “The Void.” Some of Blaine’s fears are going blind and being struck in his head. He liked all years of school because they turned him into what he is today.
Blaine’s plan next year is to go to Maryland to go help his grandfather. In Blaine’s life he would like to become a mechanic and own his own business. Blaine would like to be remembered for graduating high school and as someone who had a big heart.
