Senior Spotlight
Caden Sand
By Blaine Wicks
Featured in our senior spotlight today is Caden Sand, who played hockey and baseball throughout his high school years. His favorite memories from high school are hanging out with friends.
Outside of high school, he likes to work, play video games, and play guitar. Caden’s advice for underclassmen is that homework is tough, but as long as you do it, it’s so worth it in the end. His jobs outside of high school include doing farm work and working at Pat’s Body Shop.
His favorite school lunch is crispitos. His greatest accomplishment was making it to his senior year. Caden’s pet peeve is people who are loud in class and don’t do anything. His family members are his dad Troy, mom Becky, and his brothers Cole and Connor. His favorite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Caden doesn’t have any fears. His favorite year of high is his senior year, because there’s a lot more freedom with choosing classes, having less homework, and being able to finish your last year doing what you want.
His next big step once he’s done with high school is going to college for accounting. The one thing Caden wants to accomplish in his life is to be able to run his own business. He also wants to be remembered as being a good guy.
