MMC Middle School Choir Pops Concert
Thursday evening (March 11) it was back to Remsen where the Middle School Choir was going to present their Pops Concert directed by Mr. Andrew Wotherspoon.
Before the Choirs performed, there were three Featured Acts given. Brea Nicks (sixth grade) sang, “Rise Up”. Gracie Pederson (7/8 grade) sang, “All I Want”; and Ashley Hurtado (7/8 grade) sang, “Someone Like You”.
The Fifth Grade Choir began the choir presentations with “Don’t Give Up On Me” and concluded with, “Dreams”.
Fifth Grade Choir members are Abe Almanza, Jeff Braun, Peyton Busch, Gracelyn Cottingham, Taya Delperdang, Rachel Doellinger, Kyndell Freeman, Kinzie Glassmaker, Taya Grage, Willow Hageman, and Sami Hill.
Angelique Hurtado, Carter Jungers, Cooper Loutch, Thomas McKinney, Carson Meyer, Brayden Miller, Rylee Nissen-Teepe, Jerry Pederson, Andrew Peterson, Tenleigh Porter, Aleecia Portz, and Logan Regennitter.
Marissa Rojas, Ben Ross, Cody Schmillen, Aiden Shea, Halley Staab, Raya Staab, Brady Tentinger, Gracie Todd, Tori Treinen, Ashley Wetter, and Caleb Wurth.
Sixth Grade Choir took to the risers with their first song, “Witch Doctor”. “I Just Want to Shine” they sang to us, and concluded with, “Proud”.
Sixth Grade Choir members are Sawyer Aduddell, Paula Bautista, Kierra Cosgrove-Eide, Conner Galles, Lexi Gotto, Eli Harpenau, and Faith Hengtgen.
Brayan Hill, RJ Krier, Brea Nicks, Gavin Poeckes, Carsten Schrooten, Kaylee Simons, and Joe Stephen.
The Seventh/Eighth Grade Choir concluded the evening performances with “Have it All” featuring Soloist, Deanna Partridge. There was also a Small Group that were included in the first selection: Promise Bullis, Destiny Gunsolly, and Autumn Sanow.
Their last song was “Bones” and featured Soloist, Ashley Hurtado.
The Seventh/Eighth Grade Choir members are Allison Astidias, Isaias Bautista, Promise Bullis, Emma Erickson, Anthony Francavilla, Destiny Gunsolly, Ashley Hurtado and Ethan Johnson.
Regan Konz, Deanna Partridge, Gracie Pederson, Isabelle Richardson, AJ Russell, Autumn Sanow, Brianna Schuetz, Dylan Stevens, and Tessa Weiler.
