The Marcus Holy Name Knights of Columbus recently completed a fundraiser to support Special Olympics programs both at the state level and the local MMCRU School District. Pictured above are KC Grand Knight, Alan Hoefling, on right and Roger Dentlinger on left, presenting check in the amount of $4,923 to Angeleah Hoefling-Roling, MMCRU special education teacher and volunteer head coach for all Special Olympics Sports and Delegation Manager(back row and third from right) and some of the MMCRU High School Special Olympics student athletes. The Knights would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all the businesses and individuals that responded to this appeal with their very generous donations that resulted in total funds being distributed of $5,521 to MMCRU Special Olympics and the balance to the State KC Office for the benefit of Special Olympics. The local KC Council pays all expenses associated with this fundraiser with 100% of the donated funds distributed to the beneficiaries. We are blessed to live in such a caring and generous community.
