The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Community School District Board of Directors met in regular joint session on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 6:30 pm in the Remsen-Union Media Center along with the Remsen-Union Community School District Board of Directors. Board members present: Laura Staab, Kristi Letsche Luke Olson and Dan Erickson. Absent: Belinda Leavitt.

Laura Staab called the meeting to order at 6:30pm.

Luke Olson made a resolution to approve the request to the SBRC and exhibits for hazard abatement at the high school building in the amount of $352,793.52. Dan Erickson seconded this resolution as stated.

B. STAFF RESIGNATIONS/HIRES
Dan Erickson moved to approve the resignation of Chelsea Ruden- Shared Board Secretary/HR/Accounts Payable, Melissa Doellinger- Paraprofessional, and Elaine Hageman- Part-time Cook. Also, the hiring of Josie Hermanson- H.S. Science and Vanessa VonSeggern- 5-12 Vocal Music. Kristi Letsche seconded.

C. MILK/BREAD BIDS
Dan Erickson moved to approve the dairy bid from Kemps Le Mars, and the bread bid from Casey’s Bakery. Luke Olson seconded.
