Senior Spotlight – Sophie Hohbach

Senior, Sophie Hohbach, from MMCRU had shared her achievements and involvement in school activities for her senior spotlight. Hohbach has participated in FFA for four years, SkillsUSA for two years, Speech for four years, and school plays. As for sports, she is in softball which she has been playing for four years and lettered for three years. She is also in golf and has lettered for all four years.
Sophie Hohbach participates in sports and school activities like FFA for 4 years and has received her Iowa Degree her Junior year, SkillsUSA for 2 years, golf which she lettered for 4 years, softball with which she participated for 4 years and lettered for 3 years, Speech participated for 4 years and lettered for 3 years, and been in school plays.
Sophie’s favorite memories from high school are attending the State and National FFA Conventions.Sophie’s greatest accomplishment in high school is receiving her Iowa Degree through FFA. She likes to spend time with friends outside of school. The advice Sophie has for the underclassmen is get involved sooner than later.
Jobs Sophie have had throughout high school is babysitting for various families and being a cashier at Bomgaars. When she isn’t busy babysitting or working, she likes to spend time with friends outside of school. Sophie’s greatest accomplishment in high school is receiving her Iowa Degree through FFA.
Sophie’s family members are Tom, her dad; Peg, her mom; and Eli, her brother. Her favorite music artist is Taylor Swift. Sophie’s favorite year of high school is her senior year because it’s more personalized classes.
Sophie’s plan to do next year is to attend Iowa State and major in Agriculture studies. Sophie’s long-term goal is to have a successful job that can help support a family.
