By Elizabeth Pedersen
Braeden Kamphoff is the son of Mike and Christie Kamphoff. Braeden has a younger brother by the name of Caleb and has two twin sisters, Kaylee and Baylee. Outside of school, Braeden likes to hang out with friends, play video games, and he also likes to play his guitar.
Braeden was the captain of the football team, He was also involved in band, baseball, bowling, wrestling, track, golf, and SkillsUSA.. In football he received 2nd team all district honors. Braeden has also been accepted at Northwestern College where he will also compete in football.
The advice Braeden has for the underclassman is to respect your teachers and your superiors. They will help you when you are needing help. He has had a variety of jobs during his high school years. Braeden has worked at the Cherokee Hy-Vee in the meat department his entire high school career. His favorite school lunch was either taco soup or crispitos.
Braeden’s greatest accomplishment throughout high school was that he received 2nd team all district honors after his senior year of football. His second accomplishment was that he got accepted and signed at Northwestern to play football. Braeden’s pet peeve is when the underclassman (juniors and below) budge in the lunch line when that is the seniors’ privilege.
Some of Braedens favorites include his favorite video game which are the Assassin’s Creed games. Some of Braeden’s fears are heights and dying alone. Braeden’s favorite year was senior year because it has been the easiest year and he hasn’t had many injuries.
Braeden would like to be remembered as being the guy with the most injuries in MMCRU history and still battling through them in sports.
