Brett lives in Marcus with his dad, Mike, mom, Laura, and his siblings, Clint, Hailey, and Luke. Throughout high school Brett has been involved in cross country, football, track and field, baseball, band, speech, NHS, Skills USA, and FCA. Brett lettered in all sports. Some awards he has gotten include; Homecoming King, lettered in sports, and some academic awards. Brett plans to attend Wayne State College for Manufacturing Management.
Some of Brett’s favorite memories in high school would be going to state track, being an all-state speech participant junior year, being in the play: Clue, and being a valued member of MMCRU. Some advice he would give to the underclassmen would be to be the best person you can, no matter if no one sees. There will always be someone who notices good character, and also be involved. You only get high school once. Brett has been a farmhand for his father and a welder at Bespoke Industries for Mr. Hansen. Brett’s favorite school lunch is chicken fajitas and his greatest accomplishment throughout high school has been State Track. Brett’s biggest pet peeve is people who cough an absurd amount and won’t get a drink. His favorite band would be Weezer, his close second is Linkin Park. Brett’s biggest fear is the ocean and disappointing people. Brett’s favorite year of school was senior year because he was crowned Homecoming King, and he was involved with as much as he possibly could be, and hopefully left behind a positive influence for the underclassmen. Brett wants to be able to accomplish being a valued member of the community and to be seen as a positive influence. Brett would like to be remembered as someone who was fun, someone who left a positive influence on the school when he left.
