This week’s staff spotlight is Alecia Regennitter. Alecia is the school nurse at the Marcus location. She has been a nurse for 11 years. Alecia had always been in the Marcus area. She first attended college in Cedar Rapids for a psychology major and got her nursing degree at WIT in Sioux City. Alecia wanted to become a nurse because she likes helping people and animals and also enjoys the practice of medicine. Alecia really enjoys working with all the students at MMCRU and always seeing new groups, new faces, and learning everyone’s personality. The advice she would give her students is “enjoy your high school years; they go very fast and have fun”. The advice she wished she received in high school is “apply yourself, do as much as you possibly can with your high school years”.
