During the month of April, the 7th and 8th grade students held the annual competition in Mrs. Weber’s math class to see which section collected the most pop tabs. They collected a grand total of 139 pounds of pop tabs to be given to the Ronald McDonald House. The winning section will get an extra “drop your lowest score on a homework assignment” pass and a root beer float. With the overwhelming amount collected this year, the top TWO sections will receive the prize. Those sections are 7A and 8B this year, contributing over half of the total amount collected. Thank you to all of the students and parents that helped with this pop tab competition. I am overwhelmed by the response and cannot express how proud I am of our students and to be a MMCRU Royal!!!!
