Austin Paradise

By Mekhi Armstrong
This week for our senior spotlight, we are featuring Austin Paradise. Austin lives with his stepdad, Jon, his mom, Kassie, two brothers, Michael and Max, and his stepbrother, Chase.
Throughout high school Austin has been involved in football from freshman year to junior year. His sophomore year he earned “Most Improved” for football. He also played basketball from freshman to sophomore year. One of his favorite memories from high school is the time spent with his friends over the years. One of his favorite things to do outside of school is to hang out with friends.
Some advice he would like to give the underclassmen is “to not let up on doing your homework, if you keep up on doing it you’ll succeed.” Some jobs he’s had throughout high school are working in Correctionville, and his current job working at the Hardees in Holstein. His greatest achievement throughout his high school career is earning the “Most Improved” award in football. Austin’s biggest fear is not succeeding in life. His favorite year of high school so far has been senior year because he enjoys most of his classes, and he’s had the opportunity to do lot’s of things. Next year he plans to continue working and go to college at WITCC. Something Austin would like to accomplish in life is to live a happy, and stress free life.
