Mark Raymond Brighton, age 58 of Marcus, IA; passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at his home in Marcus. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021, at the Grace United Methodist Church in Marcus. Pastor Travis Stevick will officiate. Burial will be at the Newell Cemetery in Newell, IA. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, with family present from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday night at the United Methodist Church in Marcus. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Mark’s name to be used for school related projects that were dear to him.
