Every year Easter brings the Easter Bunny to Sutherland. Every year the Easter Bunny finds a new, creative way to be generous and share. This year’s event in Sutherland was held in the R. L. Johannsen Center. Eggs were scattered throughout the main ballroom. Each child collected 5 eggs, each with a piece of candy, and went to see the Easter Bunny. A gift bag with candy treats and a kite were given to each.
Easter remembers renewal and new life. It is a time of regeneration and refreshment. The thoughts are both spiritual and secular.
