II. School District’s Initial Offer
The South O’Brien Community School District provided to the South O’Brien Education Association their initial bargaining offer.  The District was represented by Superintendent Wade Riley and School Business Official/Board Secretary Aaron Giese.

CITY OF MARCUS NOTICE OF HEARING OF PROPOSED PROPERTY SALE
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council, City of Marcus, Iowa, proposes to enter into a Purchase Agreement regarding the following legally described property:
The South 60 feet of the North 226.2 feet of the South 418.2 feet of Lot 5 in the Irregular Survey of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter (W 1/2 NE1/4) of Section 4, Township 92 Nort, Range 42 West of the 5th P.M.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that March 9, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. has been fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers of the Marcus City Hall at 222 N Main St., Marcus, Iowa, has been fixed as the place, for a public hearing on the proposed property sale, at which time interested parties may appear and be heard for or against the proposed sale. A proposed resolution authorizing property sale and copy of the purchase agreement is available for public inspection at the Marcus City Hall.
