Royals were in possession in the final seconds of the District Championship game at Marcus Tuesday February 24 against Sibley-Ocheyedan. The Royals chose to wait out the clock as they earned their spot in the substate game in Storm Lake Saturday February 28 at 6:00pm. The Royals face North Union for a trip to the Iowa State High School Tournament. North Union defeated Belmond-Klemme on Tuesday evening in a thrilling 52-50 win at Belmond-Klemme High School.
