Sutherland Hosts Galentine’s Event

Friday February 13 was good luck for the R. L. Johannsen Center Board. The well organized group created a terrific event for ladies to celebrate Valentine’s Day. This first outing for a “Galentine’s” event brought 240 women out for dinner, drinks and laughs.
Following a pasta buffet dinner and a cheesecake and toppings dessert the fun began.
Lisa Lane Comedy was the feature event on Friday. Lane tours her comedy show across the U.S. and is based out of Denver, Colorado. She kept the crowd laughing while they enjoyed their desserts and more cocktails if they chose.
South O’Brien members of FCCLA provided help with food service and clean up.
