Parker Glassmaker, MMCRU 138 pound Iowa State Wrestling competitor faced Hayden Roush of Shenandoah in the opening round on Wednesday February 19. Glassmaker came out on top and leading 6-1 in the first period. Glassmaker won at 2:18.
Round 2, also on Wednesday put Glassmaker in front of Don Bosco’s Dawson Youngblut. Youngblut enjoyed a bye for the first round. The round 2 match, gong 1:50 into round 2 went to Youngblut by tech fall (15 point lead). Glassmaker took his place in the consolation round. Glassmaker faced Jacob Vance of Osage. The competitors battled for all 3 periods. Vance moved on with a 7-5 winning score.
