MMRCU School Board Meeting
The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Community School District Board of Directors met in regular joint session on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the RU Media Center along with the Remsen-Union Community School District Board of Directors. Board members present: Laura Staab, Kristi Letsche, Belinda Leavitt, Luke Olson, and Dan Erickson.
I. CALL TO ORDER Laura Staab called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

Belinda Leavitt moved to approve Laura Staab as the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn School Board President. Kristi Letsche seconded.

Dan Erickson moved to approve Luke Olson as the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn School Board Vice-President. Belinda Leavitt seconded.

C. ADMINISTRATION OF OATH TO BOARD OFFICERS
The board secretary administered the oath of office to Laura Staab and Luke Olson.
D. ESTABLISH BOARD MEETING DATE/TIME/LOCATION
Dan Erickson moved to hold the board meetings at alternating school districts on the 3rd Monday of the month. November through March meetings will begin at 5:30 p.m. and April through October meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. Policy 210.2 reviewed and revised. Kristi Letsche seconded.

The board president administered the oath of office to Bobbi Riedemann and Ginell Wetter.

H. EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT SALARY SUPPLEMENT FOR CLASSIFIED STAFF
Dan Erickson moved to approve the Educational Support Salary Supplement distribution for classified staff following the tiered system. Payment will be disbursed for all staff employed through the end of the semester. Luke Olson seconded.

I. RESOLUTION TO SBRC FOR MSA AT-RISK/DROPOUT PREVENTION Belinda Leavitt moved to authorize the district’s administration to submit a request to the School Budget Review Committee for a modified supplemental amount of $101,301 for at-risk/dropout prevention. Kristi Letsche seconded.
