It took four sets at Hawarden on Tuesday September 24 for the MMCRU Royals to claim a match victory. The Royals opened with a first set win, 25-13. The Falcons won a hard-fought second set, 22-25. The Royals showed grit in the next two sets, claiming wind in both, 25-17 and 25-19.
The Royals scored on 12 ace serves in the four sets. The team put 95 balls into play resulting in 86 successes for a 90.5% efficiency.
Sophomore Tia Tentinger is credited with 27 assists and an ace serve. Senior Breanna Staab marked 22 digs and Sophomore Chloe Alesch led kills with 3. No blocks go to the Royals during this match.
