Cody Simons, 18 year old son of Tony Simons and Shelley Shook of Marcus had the grand champion steer at the National Simmental cattle show this July in Tulsa Oklahoma .
The Simmental association has an annual junior cattle show every summer that includes skills events , judging contests , quizzes , showmanship and sales talks . Kids from all over the United States show in this event. Cody has shown in this the last 4 summers .
