Voting Hours and Locations for 2024 Primary Election
The Cherokee County Auditor’s Office reminds voters that the polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 for the Primary Election.
All residents in Iowa must vote in the precinct they live in on Election Day.
Voters are asked to carefully review polling location information as precincts and polling places have changed for many residents.
Polling locations for Cherokee County residents are as follows:
Precinct #1 Cherokee Community Center – Upper Level Auditorium (City of Cherokee Ward 1)
Precinct #2 Cherokee Community Center – Upper Level Auditorium (City of Cherokee Ward 2)
Precinct #3 Cherokee Community Center – Upper Level Auditorium (City of Cherokee Ward 3)
Precinct #4 Cherokee Community Center – Lower Level (Afton, Cedar, Cherokee, Liberty, Spring Townships & City of Larrabee)
Precinct #5 Aurelia Community Center (Diamond, Pilot, Pitcher, Silver Townships & City of Aurelia)
Precinct #6 Quimby Fire Station (Grand Meadow, Rock, Tilden, Willow Townships & Cities of Quimby & Washta)
