The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn School District Board of Directors met in special session on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 4:30pm in the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Board Room, Marcus, IA. Board members present: Laura Staab, Luke Olson, and Karla Prunty. Absent: Belinda Leavitt and Danae Dreckman.
I.  CALL TO ORDER
Laura Staab called the meeting to order at 4:31pm.
II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
Karla Prunty moved to approve the agenda. Luke Olson seconded.

III. BUSINESS
A.  LEP ALLOWABLE COST REQUEST
The Board approved the LEP Allowable Cost Request in the amount of $17,271.65. Ayes:3. Nayes: 0. Item passed with a vote of 3-0.
B.  MMC: HIRE: MARK SCHUTTLER: ASST. BOWLING COACH
Luke Olson moved to approve the hire of Mark Schuttler as the assistant bowling coach. Karla Prunty seconded.

C.  MMC: SALE OF PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT
Luke Olson moved to approve the sale of the old preschool playground equipment that was used temporarily during construction. MMC will accept sealed bids starting at a minimum of $4,000.00. Karla Prunty seconded.

IV.   ADJOURN
Luke Olson moved to adjourn the meeting at 4:51pm. Karla Prunty seconded.
