The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Community School District Board of Directors met in special session on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 3:00 pm at the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Board Room, Marcus, IA. Board members present: Laura Staab, Danae Dreckman, and Luke Olson. Absent: Karla Prunty and Belinda Leavitt

Laura Staab called the meeting to order at 3:04 PM.

A. CONSIDERATION OF FINANCING PROPOSALS OPEND AND REVIEWED BY THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS, TREASURER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, SECRETARY OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTOS, AND PLACEMENT AGENT
Matt Gillaspie presented the bid proposals for the bond issue and redemption.
B. RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE SALE
Luke Olson moved to approve the sale of the SAVE bonds to United Bank of Iowa. Danae Dreckman seconded.

C. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REDEMPTION FO OUTSTANDING SCHOOL INFRASTRUCTURE SALES, SERVICES AND USE TAX REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2017, DATED JUNE 12, 2017 AND DIRECTING NOTICE BE GIVEN
