This week, May 8-12, MMCRU Royals schools celebrated Teacher Appreciation week. Last Friday a food truck came to the school to serve both the teachers and the students. This week teachers at MMCRU were allowed to wear jeans all week. There were also some drawings each day which provided prizes to the teachers. Teachers were also treated to lunch on Wednesday.
Mrs. Bottjen’s senior class also wrote letters to teachers who impacted their lives the most, expressing their gratitude to them. This week’s Royal Buddies theme was also Teacher Appreciation, both elementary and high school students worked together to express gratitude to their teachers.
Teacher Appreciation is an annual event at MMCRU Royals which occurs in the first full week of May. Big thanks to MMCRU Royals Teachers and Staff for all that they do!
