For the 40th consecutive year, the Cherokee County Agri-Business Committee is offering scholarship opportunities for graduating seniors. This year, two $500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who reside in Cherokee County. This scholarship may be used at a 2 or 4-year college or university.
Applicants must plan to work toward a degree in the agriculture field. Examples may include, but are not limited to, the following areas of agriculture or agri-business: Production, Horticulture, Sales & Service, Products & Processing, Forestry, Conservation, Mechanization, Wind Turbine Energy Research, Economics, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Engineering, Educatio, Ag Health (Occupational Health, Nursing with plans to work in a rural community)
