This week one of our senior spotlights is Caedyn Henrich. Caedyn lives south of Marcus with her dad, Jed; mom, Shayla; sister, Addilynn; and she has one more sister that doesn’t live with her, Mackenna. After Caedyn graduates high school, she plans to attend USD to major in criminal justice.
Caedyn has been involved in bowling, 9-11th grade, speech, 10th and 11th grade, and Skills USA 9th and 10th grade. Caedyn lettered in both bowling and speech. One of Caedyn’s greatest accomplishments is getting to graduate early by taking all of her needed classes and never failing them. Outside of school Caedyn enjoys going on wild adventures with her friends; she never knows where the nights are going to take them. Some of Caedyn’s favorite memories throughout high school have been homecoming, yearbook class, and youthgroup memories with Amanda and John. Some of Caedyn’s biggest fears are spiders, mice, bats, birds, fish, grasshoppers, dragonflies, and sometimes the dark. Caedyn’s biggest pet peeve is hearing people chew or drink anything. Caedyn’s favorite year of high school has been junior year because she didn’t have much homework and it was an easy year for her, the year was fun all around. Something Caedyn wants to accomplish in life is to make all her dreams a reality and prove to herself and others that she can accomplish her goals. Caedyn’s biggest piece of advice for the underclassmen is to try to be involved in things and keep good grades because it matters later on. Also, don’t let other people’s opinions on things you do bring you down or affect you because it’s your life not theirs.
