Currently, a booster dose is not authorized for children in this age group who receive a Moderna primary series.

All children 6 months through 5 years of age should receive COVID-19 vaccine, regardless of a history of symptomatic or asymptomatic COVID-19 infection. COVID-19 vaccines may be administered without regard to timing of other vaccines. This includes simultaneous administration of COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines on the same day.
