Heartland Care Center announced earlier in the week that they were going to hide eggs starting at 1 o’clock Sunday, April 10. The residents had been filling plastic eggs with an assortment of candy earlier in the week. There were helpers that hid the eggs outside. Sunday was a beautiful day for the “hunt” so there were a number of residents sitting outside watching the action! Heartland Care Center was ready for the kids to find the eggs.
Before 1 o’clock, the Heartland parking was full of cars. It was not quite 1 o’clock and kids were waiting patiently with all kinds of containers or bags that would hold the eggs. Now this Easter Egg Hunt wasn’t just for kids adults came with the younger children to help with the hunt.
When it was getting closer in time for the “hunt” to begin, the Easter Bunny let the hunters know places that they could find some eggs. With that out of the way, the Easter Bunny said, “Get ready, set, and GO! And, Go they went looking! When the hunters thought they had enough they sat down and emptied the contents of the eggs into their bag, or whatever.
Thank you, Heartland Care Center for giving the kids a traditional Easter Egg Hunt!
