MMC CSD Board of Directors Meeting
The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Community School District Board of Directors met in special session on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 7:30 am at the MMC Superintendent’s Office, Marcus, IA. Board members present: Karla Prunty, Danae Dreckman, and Luke Olson. Absent: Laura Staab and Belinda Leavitt.
I. CALL TO ORDER
Karla Prunty called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m.
II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Luke Olson move to approve the agenda. Danae Dreckman seconded.
Carried 3-0
III. BUSINESS
A. BOARD RESPONSE TO MMCEA INITIAL BARGAINING PROPOSAL
The MMC board’s response is the following
- Increase the base wage $1,500.00 for a total without TSS of $30,500.00
- Returning staff for 2022-2023 will receive an increase of $2,000.00
B. MMC CLASSIFIED ASSN INITIAL PROPOSAL
Kristi Ames presented the MMC Classified Staff opening bargaining proposal with an undetermined total package.
IV. ADJOURN
Luke Olson moved to adjourn at 7:53 a.m. Danae Dreckman seconded.
