Student Survey
By Emma Mahoney
This week, we asked eight students the questions: “Scary or sad movies? Why?” All eight unanimously agreed without speaking to each other. These were their answers.
Bree Richarson – “Scary, because sad movies are mood killers.”
Alex Armfield – “Scary, because sad movies are boring.”
Elsie Hogg – “Scary, because sad movies tend to worsen my mood. Scary movies tend to have a lot of inaccuracies that I find comical.”
Owen Schroeder – “Scary, because a lot of things happen and sad movies get boring.”
Jaidyn Ballard – “Scary. Sad movies are depressing and put you in a bad mood. Scary movies give you a rush of adrenaline, which is fun.”
Jaelyn Kabisch– “Scary. Sad movies get in my head a lot. I don’t like being sad. Good scary movies that are worth watching are interesting to me.”
Asya Miller – “Scary, because sometimes scary movies become comical and make me laugh. Sad movies are good, too, but you have to be in a certain mood.”
Brett Staab – “Scary, because they are thrilling. They keep people on the edge of their seats in suspense. In my opinion, horror is way more interesting.”
