Descendents of Andrew Magnus and Christine Jacobson Swanson met Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Meriden Community Center in Meriden for their annual reunion. A catered meal and ice cream were served. Thirteen family members enjoyed updates to the family tree, reminiscing, and looking over family history and pictures. Many newly discovered family history treasures were shared as well. Letters and e-mails were shared from family members unable to attend. Those in attendance were Mrs. Galen Ducommun, Linda Brewer, Scott Hearne, Norman and Mary Swanson, Tyler Swanson and Sonja Newkirk, Verdell Johnson, Craig and Gay Strub, Elizabeth Johnson; Everett Johnson and Gayle Hearne attended via Zoom. The next Swanson Reunion will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022.
