The Wood Carver, Lynn Anderson was at the Fair and doing what he does best_carving from old pieces of trees that look like they aren’t worth anything! However, he has the talent to turn them into something worthwhile. They were going to be sold by silent auction with the results known after 5 p.m. on Sunday.
This year he had a Raccoon that went for $410. The Cardinal went for $400. A Farm Scene went for $430. The Owl went for $190. Iowa State went for $250. “Royals” went for $125. “Iowa” went for $200. A small turtle went for $270.
