The Marcus Community Fair Cooking School committee is excited to announce that Jackie Grage will be our featured cook! The Cooking school is on Sunday, August 15th at noon in the Hall of Progress.
Here’s an inside look at Jackie’s life;
Hi! I am Jackie Grage. I was born and raised in the Remsen area. I am married to Jason Grage and we have three kids, Gunnar (senior), Mason (freshman) and Taya (6th grader). We reside southeast of Remsen on an acreage. Jason farms and owns Grage Performance (Ag Business). When I am not busy running with the kids, I like to bake/cook. My love for cooking/baking came from my mom, Lynn Galles!! She was always making my brothers and sister something yummy! She always has dessert at her house and now my kids know that!! Two years ago, my sister-in-law (Ruth Grage) asked me if I would like to make lunches at Beer City! It didn’t take me long to make a decision! We serve lunch Monday-Wednesday from 11-1! Come and join us for lunch sometime. You will not be disappointed!
